FeeTruth is a Chrome extension that estimates what a US Etsy sale may leave after published fees and a cost you type. It is not affiliated with Etsy.

What stays on your computer

Prices, shipping, costs, quantity, and Offsite Ads choices you type.
POD presets and the two default toggles, stored with chrome.storage.local on that browser profile.
The estimate itself.

The extension has no account, no server, and no analytics. It does not ask for your Etsy password and it does not read Etsy cookies. The only Chrome permission is storage.

What it reads on Etsy

Only if you click Read from page. It then looks at visible text fields in the tab for a price or a shipping amount. It skips password fields. It does not read orders, messages, buyer names, or your payment account. If it cannot find a field, you type the number. Nothing it reads is uploaded.

The popup calculator does not read the page at all.

What we don’t do

No sale of data. There is no data to sell.
No Etsy login and no third-party login.
No remote fonts, no remote code, no update check in the current free build.
Preset costs are yours. The sample dollar amounts shipped in the extension are placeholders, not your supplier’s prices.

This website

The waitlist form on the home page does not send your email anywhere yet. If you save an address, it stays in this browser’s localStorage only. Clear site data and it is gone. No analytics pixels are loaded on these static pages.

No support inbox is live yet. Do not invent one. When Ryan has an address he actually reads, it will be added here. Until then there is no operator contact line on purpose.
